  LUMEN ECCLESIAE Newsletter

Welcome to Lumen Ecclesiae, a Substack newsletter edited by Br. Dominick Jean, OP, our Creative Director.

As the Order of Preachers, the Dominicans role in the world is to share and to be the light of the Church (Lumen Ecclesiae) for the salvation of souls  just like Holy Father St. Dominic did!

In our nightly antiphon to St. Dominic we call him the Lumen Ecclesiae, “the light of the Church.” And that is what we are all called to be.

The light of the Church illuminates the World. Let us shine brightly.
